As Vice President and Head of Stable Value, John Hubenschmidt leads Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP's stable value business and is responsible for pricing and risk management. He joined Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP in 2012 and has been with the Stable Value team since 2017 where he has contributed to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP’s emergence as a top ten writer of synthetic GICs.
John has two decades of experience in insurance and reinsurance, having worked in pricing, valuation and projections, in force management of asset-intensive treaties, and ALM and VA hedging. He began his career with Ohio National Financial Services and worked for Genworth and CUNA Mutual Group prior to coming to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP.
John received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the California Institute of Technology, and a Master of Arts in economics from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder.
