Matt Blakely leads Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPP’s global philanthropic, volunteerism, and sustainability reporting efforts. Since joining Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPP in 2020, Matt and his team have developed and executed enterprise strategies that have enhanced the company’s environmental sustainability and corporate citizenship. As of 2024, more than 60% of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPP employees participate in volunteerism, philanthropy, or sustainability causes. Additionally, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPP offsets 90% of its 2023 Scope 1 and 2 emissions globally.  

Matt has nearly 30 years of experience working with private and corporate foundations and corporate social responsibility programs. Prior to joining Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPP, Matt served as Executive Director of the Motorola Solutions Foundation, and as Director of Inclusion, Diversity and Outreach for the company. In that role, Matt coordinated the giving, volunteerism, and inclusion efforts of Motorola. Before joining Motorola Solutions, Matt was a senior program officer at the McCormick Tribune Foundation. In that role, he worked with 11 different companies to develop giving strategies and identify ways to make positive impacts on communities.

Matt received a bachelor’s degree in history from Illinois State University. He serves on the executive advisory committee of the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship and on the board of directors of Focus STL, a leadership-development nonprofit in St. Louis. He is also an emeritus board member for both Project Exploration and the Chicago History Museum.
